Useful information

Year on year, we create themes for our event. This year’s UK Black Pride theme is ‘Freedom and Justice’

UK Black Pride is a safe space to celebrate diverse sexualities, gender identities, cultures, gender expressions, and backgrounds. We foster, represent, and celebrate Black LGBTQI+ and QTIPOC culture through education, the arts, cultural events, and advocacy. Importantly, UK Black Pride promotes unity and cooperation among LGBTQI+ people of diasporic communities in the UK, as well as their friends and families. As such, we abide by the following company ethics:

  • Respect

  • Trustworthiness

  • Fairness

  • Social & Environmental Responsibility

UK Black Pride reserves the right to decline or remove any applicant whose values do not align with our organization or the communities we serve.

We believe that your participation can significantly contribute to the richness of UK Black Pride 2024. Together, let's create a memorable event that celebrates love, diversity, and unity.

If you have any questions regarding participating as a volunteer, please email: abirami@ukblackpride.org.uk and sadiyq@ukblackpride.org.uk.

The volunteer role is unpaid. Light refreshments are provided for volunteers.
